Prague...the colorful and the weird

Window shopping at night was fantastic..the colorful windows displays were extraordinary. I can't believe they actually sell all that stuff...so much of it.

What an increible store this one was. It had the little and not so little babushka dolls. You know the ones that open up and then there is a smaller one and so on. Traditionally they are eastern European. Well these ones were of every conceivable sporting team you could think of, from every country . Seriously amazing. I said to the shopkeeper jokingly I bet you don't have our football team. No one hears of Adelaide or it's football teams. Even our code of football in Australia is not well known out of the country. He led me straight to our team...he also said, do you follow Adelaide crows or Port power. That blew me away. No, I didn't buy one as they were too large to go in our back packs.

Cute leather bags

The subways were very colorful also and very steep. If you freak out about heights ..forget it. It was unnerving the first time we went down them.
The things you see...

On one of our walks we poked our head around a high wall and saw a lovely garden then saw this grotto...amazing.

Inside the castle we found a very interesting display of medieval weaponry. More than I had ever seen...grand kids would have loved it. I have never seen so many different suits of armour. Incredible museum.

Prague was full of surprises every day.
